Five Things

A few lovely randoms for your week…

I can’t believe it’s December! Wasn’t it just March or something? Seriously. I’m fighting that “overwhelmed” feeling that likes to creep into our heads this time of year when everything is getting decorated and festive. I feel like I have a billion kinds of cookies I need to make, and like I need to rob the North Pole for all of the Christmas decorations I can get my hands on. I’m reminding myself to only commit what I know I can do without being stressed, and to be ok with doing less and making less gifts this year. With working full time and focusing on gut healing, there is only so much Christmas-ing I can realistically do. And thats ok.

But thats not to say I’m not swooning over all things Christmas. Because I totally am. See below…..

1. A workout from last week….

Single Cavegirl Workout:

EMOM – 6 rounds (42 mins)

Push press
Wall ball
Rows
Up downs and my climber
Curl to press half Arnold
Butler
Lateral raise lateral pulse

2. A few podcast episodes I’m loving:

LeBron James and His Top-Secret Trainer, Mike Mancias (#349). I’ve been off of the Tim Ferris train for a while, but this caught my attention!
Do You Need a Ride  I’m a big fan of My Favorite Murder, but I somehow didn’t know that Karen has this other podcast! It is hilarious.

3: Paleo Christmas Recipes

I feel like this needs no explanation.

4: What I’m Pinning Lately

Still going ham on the Christmas decor ideas over here. Not sorry at all.

5. A Few Articles I Enjoyed

12 Best Adaptogens to Feel Less Stressed, Get Laser Focused and More – A super informative article on the Bulletproof blog if you’re getting into Adaptogens (which, I am.)

Why I Encourage All Women To Be Bigger – An older post, but such a fantastic message from Coconuts and Kettlebells

That’s all for this week! Come back tomorrow for PANCAKESSSSSS. Heck yes! Try to hold in your excitement enough to sleep tonight.
