A few lovely randoms for your week…
It’s here — the start of the actual holiday celebrations! Have you been busy cooking or preparing for company all weekend? I know I have. I’m like freakin Julia Child with my Coq Au Vin and scones stockpiled in my fridge. All I really want is scrambled eggs in a Siete tortilla. Is that wrong? Is that an ok Thanksgiving dinner? Asking for a friend.
While you think that over, here are a few favorites to look through:
1. A workout from last week….
I’m still trying to hold myself back from working out at me preferred intensity. I did ok this week, but definitely pushed too hard a few times. Why does this have to be a part of healing? Ugh. The problem is that I feel really good when I wake up, so it’s hard to talk myself into sleeping or resting instead of going to the gym.
Remembering to listen to your body is important. if you feel like you need a rest day, you absolutely should take a rest day. Don’t push yourself to workout. I suppose the same goes to the other signs your body gives you, such as Hypothalamic Amenorrhea. Even if you aren’t physically unable to workout, it’s still a sign that your body is imbalanced and needs rest. I’m still working on listening to that sign. In the meantime, heres a workout I really enjoyed! You can definitely scale back the intensity or move slower and lighter if needed.

Girls Gone Wod Ep.283: Perfectionism and Therapy. It’s all in the title on this one. As someone who isn’t in therapy, I found this very interesting! I’m always happy to listen to Joy and Claire talk.
3: Paleo Thanksgiving Recipes for House Guests
I’m busy cooking away for my mom when she stays with me this week. While I’m sure I’ll be cooking plenty more on Thanksgiving here are some healthy Paleo treats I’m keeping stocked in the house for her!
